Ryan turns 1!

Ryan actually turns one on January 24th, but his birthday party was today. It was a costume party. We had so much fun!!! Yay!!!!

Oxford
|
|
Yesterday, I took a train to Oxford to visit Niki. We had lunch at this chinese restaurant, but most of the waiters were Malaysian. We had lunch with Niki's Malaysian friends studying in Oxford Brookes. It was fun & sedap  . We paid 12 pounds each for nasi with loads of lauk (udang, mussels, turkey, chicken, duck, sayur, fish). Money well spent indeed. Then today we went to Bicester Village. Apart from the cold weather, it was great. But of course it would be nicer if I had loads of cash, but never mind. Just wanted to walk around. My only regret is I didn't get to see the "great dining hall" from the Harry Potter movie. Ah well.....

Belgo

Rose organized a surprise farewell dinner for me at Belgo. So thoughtful.....thanks!
It was great. There were 11 of us. I had a nice pot of mussels in green tea for starters, a lobster for the main course & chocolate cheesecake for dessert. The food was yummy!!! Thanks guys for coming & thanks to Rose for going through all the trouble. Oh, another great thing was I got a prezzie from Rini, Ana & Iffah. They gave me a watch. And coincidently it was red like my top! Haha. I sooooo love watches though. Hmmm.....it was a lovely evening spent with wonderful friends

Niesa in London
|

Niesa slept over at our place last night. Today we went to Camnden Town. It's something like PS in Malaysia. Didnt buy anything. Pukul 4 dah gelap, so not much fun walking around. After dropping off Niesa's bags at the NST apartment, we all went to Mawar for dinner. Met up with Tok Ya, Aled and a few others.

Niesa came over to London with her family for a week. It was so much fun having her around. Macam gathering ex-unitenians pulak.....with Niesa, Rose, Alim, Niki, Didi, Hana. Best! 
We also celebrated Hana's 25th birthday at Dd's place. Went there after attending the kenduri doa selamat for Pak Lah's late wife held at the Malaysian Hall. Hana's cake was this delicious chocolate cake with loads of strawberries as the topping. Sedap!! Nyam nyam....
